The Banner Ministry sets out to to create fabric banners that visually depict one of the names of the Godhead or a scriptural concept. In the Banner Ministry, we study the names of God the Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit using the Scriptures and references texts.

Sometimes we choose to illustrate a scriptural concept. We then use common symbols, color and pattern to bring the name to life in a pictorial form. The sketches are then transformed into patterns which we use to illustrate the name or concept in fabric, trimmings and beads.

Never fear, there is very little sewing. But if you can operate an iron or a glue bottle, you can help in this ministry.  The banner ministry created  the triptych (three pictures that make one whole picture) of banners that are permanently on display in our Worship Center.  Currently, they are working on banners for the Carthage Rescue Mission.
