Calvary's
Caring and Sharing ministers to the homebound, those in
the hospital and nursing homes through mailing cards,
personal visits, or a simple telephone call. Its purpose:
to uplift them in spirit and to keep them in informed
so that they continue to feel connected with Calvary.
Caring
and Sharing is a part of the church that extends Christian
love in times of illness and sympathy in the loss of a
relative or friend of any of our church family. Many times,
Caring and Sharing will provide transportation when needed
as well as many home-cooked meals.
Each
week on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am, these ladies meet
together at the church in Room 140. Mostly retired women
they met to share information on shut-ins, prepare mailings,
have a devotional, share prayer request and a time of
prayer then dismiss to visitations.
