My name is Frank Lane and I am the Associate Pastor of Education here at Calvary Baptist Church. I have been at Calvary for 11 years. My wife is Marty and she serves as the Director of Conference and Event Services at Le Tourneau University in Longview, Texas. We were married at Calvary Baptist Church in Ozark, Arkansas, in 1985. We have four children. Jake, our oldest son, is attending the University of Arkansas. Lauren is attending LeTourneau University. Christian is in seventh grade. Our youngest is Gracie and is in the second grade.
I was born in California and lived there until the middle of my eighth grade year when my family moved to Ozark, Arkansas. (Yes, it was a little bit of a culture shock). Eventually I fell in love with Arkansas and Marty and we lived there until 1995. Both Marty and I graduated from the University of The Ozarks and Dallas Theological Seminary. We have been in Texas since 1995 and in Henderson since 2000.
Most of my free time involves activities with our children, but I also enjoy reading, watching television, going to Sonic for Cokes, eating chocolate, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys! I also like the Rangers, Mavericks, and Stars too.
Favorite Verse: Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
