Calvary's Hand-N-Hand Preschool began operating in 2000. The Preschool is operated under the direction of Administrative Director Nicole Kocher who reports to Senior Pastor Bill Kuykendall. Our purpose is to provide a safe, loving and enriching environment for children.

We offer an educational program for children. It is operated as a non-profit ministry of Calvary Baptist Church available to the children of our community. Curriculum is based on the Wee Learn® Series by LifeWay® Christian Resources; in addition, many supplementary texts are also used in planning.

We are licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division.

Our classes are open to any child regardless of race or religious beliefs. The curriculum is appropriately designed to the age groups and to the stage of development of each child. Since children learn best through hands-on activities, lessons are built around play and learning through their experiences. A love and appreciation for God, Christ and the things God has made are stressed though the appropriate activities. Curriculum is designed to help the child develop in all facets of his/her life... spiritually, emotionally and socially.

Chapel services consisting of singing, Bible verses and Bible lessons are held weekly for children two years of age and older.

Hand-N-Hand Preschool is open Monday through Friday year-round with the exception of closure on major holidays and several staff development days. Hours of operation are 7:15 AM through 5:15 PM.
